Able Hands Rehab Orthotic Scanner (Orthopedic Scanner App) is a mobile application built specifically for doctors as well as patients. The app designs custom braces to be packaged and delivered for a better fit for individual patients
The application is design to take advantage of built-in depth sensors within iPhone cameras (iPhone X and above). The application delivers accurate, 3D scans of the injured body parts to our professional technicians.
They then use CAD software to design custom braces to fit the patient’s injured body part. This allows for greater comfort during the healing process and for a better fit for different sizes and shapes.
Finally, the custom designed brace is 3D printed by our technicians and then packaged and shipped to the doctor/patient who requested it.

Able Hands Rehabilitation is an organization of Certified Hand Therapists with offices in Old Bridge, Freehold, and Edison Townships. We have been providing physical and occupational therapy for our patients and customers for over 25 years.
We are familiar with the most common and the rarest of injuries, syndromes, and problems which occur with hands. We have treated patients with carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, arthritis, and even traumatic injuries. We have also treated patients with fractures of the wrist and fingers.
The Orthotic Scanner (Othopedic Scanner App) is an amalgamation of all the knowledge which we have gathered through our practice. It is a modern solution to fit the age we are in. Using advanced mobile sensors within mobile phones, 3D-modelling software, and custom 3D printing technology, we can deliver comfort to our patients.
Through the app, we have delivered an objectively better solution to the problem of designing custom hand braces. With minimal interference and minimal discomfort to our patients, the app can create a brace which simply works for you.
